Artnet 2 Twinkly 3.13.7 is here.

Writer's picture: John LordJohn Lord

Nothing involved in the basic operating of the artnet receiving/transmitting to Twinkly has been modified

and this is a gauranteed safe update.

Bugfix: Prevent entering the layout tools if you don't have a layout loaded yet.

Bugfix: The main window sometime in the past got its window anchoring screwed up and the preview window was half-hidden behind other parts of the screen. This also prevented 3d rotating.

Bugfix: Some groups were not displaying their layouts in the main preview. They still displayed properly in the editor.

Bugfix: The bulk controls for setting the frame limiter were backwards in operation and the labelling was wrong.

Bugfix: If you edit the number of nodes on a pro device and don't remap it, the cloud still sends down the old layout, which now has the wrong number of points in it. This was causing a crash.

Enhancement: There is now a built-in hidden way to open the settings folder the app uses.

Enhancement: You can now hack the length of any gen 2 device that has a single strand. This includes - but is not limited to - Twinkly Line, Flex, 100, 60 dots.

Features removed: You will no longer automatically get exported automatic submodels for each strand. You can no longer import a csv list of nodes to light up in the editor. These changes were made because they are now redundant with the existence of the new submodel editor.

Main Change/Enhancement: The program now allows you to create submodels in the editor, which will automatically be added when you export a model from the export button. This leverages the previous ability to type in manually a selection of lights in the editor, and allows you to save them as named submodels. Additionally, the control is now part of the editor window instead of in a dialog, and runs in real-time. A release video of this feature will be uploaded to https://youtube.com/@lightsofelberfeld soon.

Major bugfix: The 3d exporter was incorrectly leaving off one z-layer of data and this would cause it to not even render properly at all...
