Artnet 2 Twinkly 3.13.5 is now available

Writer's picture: John LordJohn Lord

This version is most fixes to bugs I recently discovered or in a couple of cases, issues recently introduced by something Twinkly did. I also have two enhancements. See below.

bug fixes:

Fixed: blank treeview entries would appear if you had groups and were logged in.

Fixed: end channel was displaying wrong in many cases, especially if a prop was grouped.

Fixed: upon initially starting app, if you chose manual range to edit in the editor and cancelled, it would crash. If you had previously opened the editor and hit cancel, it would open anyway with the last thing you edited.

Fixed: (some) groups not working with live output or test mode. Twinkly has started inconsistently casing their guids which introduced this issue.

fixed: You could not 3d rotate 3d groups on the main view. You can now do so.

enhancements:

enhancement 1: if you're logged in and have a device on your network twinkly doesn't know about, you will get a dialog telling you of this.

enhancement 2-a:

the manual selection dialog in the layout editor is now dynamically built based on the lights that are selected. This means you could select all of the mouth shape in your singing prop (for example) and it will display the selection in the exact manner xlights expects it in the singing faces dialog.

enhancement 2-b: When using the manual range entry on the web page, it now gets the selection upon reload so you don't have to retype something crazy each time. Additionally, if you hit any of the other mode buttons, the editor will be closed.

enhancement 3: You well get annoyed less often to commit if all you've done is play with live output

Note: I'm always looking for future ideas for the program, so if you have one, please submit it in the form on lightsofelberfeld.com
